Billy Lake

In his sixth season at The Shaw, Mr Billy Lake appears in Ragtime and as Kenneth Lake in French Without Tears. Last season, Billy appeared as Jamie in Lerner and Loewe’s musical, My Fair Lady and as The Wolf in J.M. Barrie’s The Admirable Crichton.
His previous Shaw credits include Serious Money, One Touch of Venus, The Devil’s Disciple, A Moon for the Misbegotten, After the Dance, Wonderful Town, Saint Joan and A Month in the Country.
Billy’s other theatre credits include Honk! (Globe Theatre); Kiss of the Spider Woman, Emily (Talk Is Free Theatre); Les Feux Follets (Charlottetown Festival Young Company); Tommy Djilas in The Music Man and the Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz in his hometown of St John’s, Newfoundland.
As a graduate of the Sheridan College Music Theatre program, Billy performed in Sweet Charity, as Lysander in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and in workshops for new Canadian musicals The Boys, The Decameron, Elizabeth and Tunnel Vision.
