Carol Baggott-Forte

Canadian singing teacher, Carol Baggott-Forte holds a BA in Music Ed and Performance. She pursued advanced repertoire at the Bryn Mawr Conservatory and graduated from the University of Toronto Opera School in1974. She studied scientifically based vocal pedagogy in New York with world-renown teacher/author, Cornelius Reid, and for forty years has been a proponent of his training methods rooted in organic, laryngeal function through natural responses innate to all voices.

Carol has taught some of Canada’s finest classical and music theatre singers, given master class workshops by invitation to include conservatories in France; Paris & Lyon. Germany: Frankfurt, Duisburg, Berlin, Essen-Werden, Bremen, Düsseldorf, Iserlohn, Hamburg, Hannover, Wiesbaden and the UK. She has served on the voice faculty of the Royal Conservatory, Toronto, taught at both the Shaw and Stratford Festivals and presented workshops for the Ontario Music Educators’ Association.
