Corrine Koslo returns to the Shaw Festival for her eighth season to appear in Present Laughter and Come Back, Little Sheba.

Corrine’s previous appearances at the Shaw include Drama at Inish – A Comedy, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Brief Encounters, The Entertainer, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, The Matchmaker, The Apple Cart, The Seagull, Maggie in Hobson’s Choice, Marsh Hay, Holiday and Tonight We Improvise.

Her most recent theatre credits include the Christopher Newton directed Kindertransport for the Harold Green Jewish Theatre Company; Soulpepper Theatre Company’s Black Comedy and the Royal Shakespeare Company/National Arts Centre co-production of The Penelopiad.

Previous theatre credits include Mamma Mia! (Mirvish Productions); The Memory of Water (Tarragon Theatre); The River (a theatrical concert of Joni Mitchell) for Prairie Theatre Exchange; The Wrong Son (National Arts Centre); B Movie The Play (Edinburgh Fringe Festival/CanStage/Boston’s Wilbur Theatre); The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe (Alberta Theatre Projects); Shirley Valentine, Top Girls and Vancouver Playhouse’s productions of Fallen Angels, Private Lives, Much Ado About Nothing, The Cherry Orchard and Tennessee Williams’ The Red Devil Battery Sign.

Corrine has spent the last 28 years working in theatres across Canada and has received Dora Awards for her roles in Lorraine Kimsa Theatre for Young People’s productions of Seussical The Musical and Bunnicula; Jessie Awards for her performance in Love and Angels (Vancouver Playhouse) and Sweeney Todd (Arts Club Theatre); and a Sterling for her performance as Madame Arcati in Blythe Spirit (Citadel Theatre).

Television and film credits include: Rick Mercer’s Monday Report, Made in Canada, The Cathy Jones Special, The X-Files, Hard Core Logo, Better than Chocolate and Best in Show.

Born in France, Corrine grew up in Halifax, Manitoba and Edmonton and is a graduate of the Vancouver Playhouse Acting School.
