Julia Course

Julia Course returns to the Shaw Festival for her fourth season, appearing in Our Betters as Elizabeth (Bessie) Saunders and in Major Barbara as a Salvation Army member. Last season, she appeared as Daphne Stillington in Present Laughter and as Marie in Come Back, Little Sheba.

Other Shaw credits include Drama at Inish – A Comedy, The President, Serious Money and The Women.

Recent theatre credits include Scientific Americans (Segal Centre); The Penelopiad (workshop), Write from the Hip (Nightwood Theatre); The Ark (National Arts Centre/National Theatre School of Canada); The Importance of Being Earnest, All My Sons, Uncle Vanya and The Battery (National Theatre School of Canada).

A graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada, Julia also holds a Master’s Degree from the School of English and Theatre Studies at the University of Guelph and a Bachelor’s Degree from the School of Fine and Performing Arts at Brock University.
