Each year we receive many requests from organizations wanting tickets donations as fundraising items for their events. We’re happy to support other not-for-profit organizations.
Please follow these guidelines when submitting your request:
Who Can Apply
Limited number of vouchers available and will be issued to support charitable events taking place between March 1 and August 31. Submissions for 2020 will be accepted beginning Feb 1 to July 31. The request must be submitted at least 30 days prior to the event.
Due to the high volume of requests we give priority to:
- Arts organizations
- Registered charitable organizations in Southwestern Ontario and border states
Charitable organizations are eligible to receive one donation per year. Please note that many events often benefit the same organization, your charity may have already received a donation though another event or organization.
Request a Donation
We do not accept requests by phone or in person. Please submit a written request on your organization’s letterhead, and include:
- Your Organization’s mission/mandate
- Your charitable registration number
- Description of the event, including the date, expected attendance and how the Shaw Festival will be recognized at your event
- Full contact information including name, contact person, full mailing address, and email address
Due to the volume of requests, submissions with incomplete information will not be considered. We are unable to follow up on every donation. If your donation has been approved you will receive a package by mail.

Please note we do not donate tickets for:
- Stag and does
- Incentive programs
- Penny raffles
- Door prizes
If you need to contact someone regarding your request please email firstname.lastname@example.org, phone calls regarding donations will not be accepted. Please note: we no longer provide donations for fundraising events occurring before March 2020.
