Personal Statement: The arts have a fundamental role in shaping a stronger, more inclusive and more productive civil society. As a life-long supporter of civic life in Canada, I am proud to say that the Shaw Festival represents the best of that commitment. From my earliest days at Shaw, I have been amazed by the magic of the festival and the wonders which the team so masterfully bring to life on the stage.
