Man and Superman Menu Options

To accentuate your experience of this epic theatrical event, we invite you to enjoy a lovely pastoral 70-minute lunch break on the grounds of the Festival Theatre. With delicious options to choose from, there is something sumptuous for everyone and every budget. We encourage you to book at the time of your ticket purchase as seating is limited! Please note that lunch pricing for each option is per person and is not included in the price of your tickets.

Option 1

$100 + tax per person, includes gratuities and wine
  • Sit-down, farm-to-table lunch including wine presented by Gooddine Catering, Treadwell or Wellington Court.
  • Only 60 seats available at each onsite restaurant, under a tent.
  • Lunch will be served at your table, which could be shared with other theatre-lovers. To enjoy the company of all members of your theatre party, you must all select the same restaurant.

Option 2

$35 + tax per person
  • Picnic lunch catered by Cuisine with an Attitude.
  • 210 picnics available.
  • Regular, gluten-free and vegetarian options available.

Option 3

  • The Lobby Café will be open offering light fare.

Option 4

  • Bring your own picnic and blanket. Note there are no facilities on the premises to store your food and seating is very limited.

  • A few local restaurants, located less than a five-minute walk from the Festival Theatre, are happy to offer special Man and Superman lunch options. Please book with your preferred restaurant – or in the case of Masaki Sushi, order your take-out lunch – and mention you are attending the Man and Superman event.

Gooddine’s philosophy: Providing exceptional food and innovative menus customized to meet the taste and expectations of each and every customer.

  • Spicy noodle bowl with cucumber, daikon kimchi, spring onions, egg, carrot
  • Marinated flank steak with arugula seedling salad grilled corn, heirloom tomato, chimichurri, cannellinis, enoki mushrooms
  • Lemon meringue squares with pink peppercorn and vanilla brittle

  • Grilled tempeh, smoked mushroom dashi, with arugula seedling salad, grilled corn, heirloom tomato, chimichurri, cannellini, enoki mushrooms
  • Vegan lemon curd, candied puffed quinoa, pink peppercorn and vanilla brittle
